Awarran Park Arabians
Three stallions reside at Awarran Park - Ebjarah Aladin (Arfaja Harlan), Inshallah Royal Escort (Tommie) and Fenwick Silver Shadow (Fenwick Rendevous). All are of pure Crabbet bloodlines. While not at public stud, we may consider matings by private treaty in the future. Each were selected for their individual traits, but importantly for how their pedigrees complement our mares.
Our breeding programme is focused towards producing sound saddle horses with particular emphasis on the endurance market. The Arabians that appeal to us, and suit our direction as breeding stock are high percentage or pure Crabbet Arabians. They have siblings competing in, and are steeped in influential endurance ancestors.
The philosophy at Awarran Park is to consistently produce outstanding examples of the breed that can compete and endure in multiple saddle disciplines. While not a regular on the show circuit, I do believe that much of the appeal of the Arabian is its exquisite beauty, and as such beauty or aesthetics (true type) also plays an important role in matings when trying to breed a balanced horse, and our progeny may find their way to the show rings.
